Our Aims

There is no greater joy for the gardener or cook than preparing food that you have grown yourself.

We aim to help you get the best out of your garden by supplying young fruit and vegetable plants direct to you from the grower, so that you can grow all your favourite foods. Our plants are available to buy online and our website also offer hints and advice in our How To section. A bit about us and what we do:

The vast majority of our plants are UK grown, and we select the varieties we offer to give the best flavour as well as good yields and strong growth.

All our orders are delivered either by courier or by Royal Mail. We package our plants carefully so that they arrive with you in good health and are ready to get growing. We are plantsmen and growers first, so you can be sure that our primary concern is growing and selling good plants that will grow well in your garden.

Why Grow Your Own

Grow your own can be cheaper, it is true, but we feel that this is selling the experience short. It offers so much more than just a way to beat the credit crunch. Freshly picked produce has all the taste and retains many more of the vitamins and other good stuff that we all need. You can read a bit more about that here.

Growing fruit and veg is a great way to introduce children to proper food. Freshly picked produce has all the taste and retains many more of the vitamins and other good stuff that we all need. It is also a great way to get the kids in to the outdoors, after all digging is good exercise. When you think of it that way it is hard to see a downside; except for all the muddy footprints!
