Carrot Chantenay has a sweet flavour with crisp orange flesh and is ideal for using recipes as a "baby veg". As it is a small variety these carrot plants are suitable to grow in pots on the patio as well as on the veg plot. As with most carrots they are easy to grow and are an excellent source of Vitamin A and anit-oxidants, in fact just 5 of these baby carrots would counts as 1 portion of your 5-a-day.
